Our expertise allows us to conduct studies on many cell types:
- keratinocytes: cells constituting 90% of the surface layer of the skin (epidermis) and its appendages (nails, hair, hairs).
- fibroblasts: main cells of the dermis, specialized in the synthesis of collagen and elastin.
- melanocytes: located in the deepest part of the epidermis but also in the hair follicle layer, they produce melanosomes which are pigmented granules rich in melanin..
- adipocytes: located in the subcutaneous tissue. They are in charge of fat storage and are part of the energy reserves of the organism.
